Wright LA week of April 21

We review Figurative Language in this final week before OAA assessments. Figurative language helps to alter the literal meaning of words, making language more colorful and interesting.  We will be looking at idoms, onomatopoeia, hyperbole, alliteration, personification, simile and metaphor.

There will also be a practice OAA for Reading this week.  The 5th grade Reading OAA will be administered next Tuesday (4/29)!!!

NO QUIZZES, NO HOMEWORK (unless you don't finish your Figurative Language Art in class!!)
