Science Week of January 20th

We officially start our Energy Unit this week.  Areas to be covered include sound and light, electricity, and thermal energy.  We will also look at how electricity can be generated using many different energy sources.  This week we focus on SOUND and LIGHT.

1)  I can explain how light travels.

2)  I can describe reflection and refraction (bending) of light.

3)   I can summarize how sound is sent, reflected, and absorbed.

4)   I can explain how the pitch of sound changes with the rate of
vibration.
